ER1 supports the Programme Indicator - SMEs will be more prone to introduce product/process innovations.
Increased SME competitiveness by Supporting SMEs without discrimination, with data, tools and system of high quality and relevance for boosting their innovation capacity Relevant statistical data, SAT and Recommender cluster system provide SMEs with the toolkit to plan and develop effective innovations. This expected result is directly linked to the Programme result indicator in SO 1.2 - SMEs introducing product/process innovations.
Decreased innovations gap between EU and IPA countries by supporting know-how transfer in the BM region Know-how transfer is supported through the recommendation of innovation clusters on transnational. In this way SMEs will bring varioius expertise in the newly formed entities and this will result in quicker and more effective product/process innovations.
Improved decision making and strategic planning at government level by providing data, tools and system of high quality and relevance on transnational level for use by supranational, national, regional and local policy makers Data, tools and systems may be used by policy makers on all 4 levels in order to provide adequate policies to spurr innovations.
