The Interim meeting was organized as part of the Working Package 1 in the framework of the project “SMEInnoBoost” financed under the Interreg - Balkan-Mediterranean 2014 - 2020 Transnational Program.

The meeting was hosted by the State Statistical Office of the Republic of North Macedonia (PP3), Albania and took place in the conference hall of “Hotel Garden” in Ohrid on May 28^th, 2019.

Representatives of all project partners, except for PP5, and members of the Steering Committee were present in the meeting.

On 20th of June 2019, in Tirana has been organized the Innovation Summit in the framework of the project “Small and Medium Enterprises Innovation Capacity Boost" with the main topics: national priorities for R&D and Innovation, financial mechanisms and funding opportunities for innovative products, introduction of innovative products developed by SMEs - as well as the best practices in developing ideas and innovations in the field of ICT.

The Interim meeting was organized as being part of the Working Package 1 in the framework of the project “SMEInnoBoost” financed under the Interreg - Balkan-Mediterranean 2014 - 2020 Transnational Program. This meeting was hosted by the Regional Development Agency of Korca (PP6), Albania and took place in the conference hall of “Mondial Hotel” in Tirana on November 1^st, 2018.

The workshop took place at Kocibelli Hotel in Korca in 27 July 2018 - 10h00. There were 55 participants in the workshop. After having addressed a welcoming note to the participants in the activity, Mr. Aurel Grabocka, director of the Foundation Regional Development Agency of Korca introduced the participants in the panel as following:

The Interim meeting was conducted as one of the main activities within Work Package 1 (WP1) in the framework of the “SME Innovation Capacity Boost” Project under the Interreg - Balkan-Mediterranean 2014 - 2020 Transnational Program, aiming at increasing the innovation capacity of SMEs in the region. It was hosted by FORTH – PP8. The Interim meeting was held on July 5^th, 2018 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

An opening conference for the Project “SME Innovation Capacity Boost” was held on 31.05.2018, at the restaurant “Den i Nokj” in Skopje.

Around 120 emails were sent to enterprises and people of interest. The focus is on enterprises from the IT sector, then the companies whose activity is computer programming, consulting and related activities, as well as for data processing companies, hosting and Internet portals and other information service activities.

A banner and promotional materials for the event, were printed out.

Workshop of the Statistical Institutes for the development of the questionnaire and methodology in the framework of the project was held in Slivek Bulgaria from 30.01.2018 till 02.02.2018.

All project partners attended the workshop. They discussed about the questionnaire that will be used for the survey and the methodology. Presentations were made from the Statistical Institutes representatives.

The leading partner of the National Association of Small and Medium Business (NASMB) held a conference on "Key factors for the generation and implementation of innovation by SMEs". It took place on December 7th at 13.30 am, in the hall "Park-hotel Moscow, Nebraska N: 25, conference hall.
